Office of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement

Assistant to the Director of Advancement

Emilie Robb joined the University of Illinois community in March 2009.  She previously worked for The Harker School, an independent K – 12 in the Silicon Valley, as the director of donor relations and stewardship.  At Harker, she oversaw gift processing, stewardship and cultivation events and implemented a comprehensive stewardship plan for the school’s many donors.  Prior to her employment at Harker, Emilie fundraised for the American Cancer Society by managing Relay For Life in five different communities and was responsible for raising over $500,000 annually through the events.

Her passion for development began during her undergraduate years at the University of Notre Dame, when she worked for the University Relations office as her student work-study.  A 2003 graduate with a degree in Marketing, she continues to be involved with the Notre Dame community through the local alumni club; most recently serving as the club president.

Emilie, a bay area native, resides in Los Gatos, CA and enjoys being active in her community mostly through volunteering through the Junior League of San Jose, serving as an airport greeter for Holt International Adoption Services and her work with the Notre Dame Alumni Club.
